I'm your host, Justin Boone, and welcome to maybe the most important week of the fantasy season,

at least in terms of like reaction and analysis and all that stuff we do, because we finally

have a weekend of real games to sort through to figure out what we might be right about

and perhaps maybe take a few Ls about the things that we were projecting wrong.

And of course, I mean, it goes without saying we don't want to overreact to one game there's always going to be some fools gold in week one and then on the flip side there's going to be guys who might just get off to a bad start and then they turn it around immediately kind of looking at Joe Burrow and the Bengals I think they're the perfect example of that this year but regardless we have a lot to go over i like to cover every team for

these week one takeaways too so that's what we're going to do today i'm going to talk about the

takeaways for all the nfc teams and then i'll go over the usual injury round up and then we'll take

an early look at the top waiver ads heading into week two and beyond and then on tomorrow's show

i'm going to do the same type of takeaways episode.

I'll just do it for the 16 AFC teams. And that's also going to allow us to talk about the Bills and Jets in that one because they play tonight on Monday night football. Very excited for that game. I want to see how my bills look, especially against that Jets defensive front, which I think is going to be a problem for them. But Josh Allen

versus Aaron Rogers, tons of fantasy implications across the board for both teams. I can't wait.

Okay, NFC takeaways first. I'm going to go in alphabetical order because I feel like it. It doesn't

really matter. Alphabetical order wins the day. So that means we're going to start with the Arizona

Cardinals, just an awful spot to begin with, but we're going to make it quick.

Josh Dobbs, about as bad as you would expect for a quarterback who just got to a team a couple

weeks ago, wasn't able to get much going. And Dobbs being under center, it's going to limit

everybody in this passing attack, which is why Rondo Moore led the team, which is 33

receiving yards. Marquise Brown was right behind him with 28 yards on five targets for Marquis

Brown and all his speed and field stretching ability, 28 yards on five targets for him.

Zach Ertz, he actually had twice as many targets as anybody, which normally might be a good sign for his fantasy outlook, but not in this offense. He finished with six catches for 21 yards somehow. So this passing attack, a complete stayaway, which we kind of knew going into the year. James Connor, he's the only guy that you're going to consider starting, but even he's going to be limited. And that's

why I kind of turned on him late in the preseason, right? I took him out of some of the
