I'm John Baxter with my colleagues, Ernesto Urshou and Joseph Omar, commenting on the

war in the Middle East, along with the war in Europe, overwhelming all resources.

At the same time, what does this mean for the Americas, especially because we have now

a headline in the Wall Street Journal pointing to, not only Hamas, but Iran and not only Iran,

but also Hisbalah, as authors, planners, green lighters of these attacks.

The fog of war is descended on the Middle East, but there is clarity about the origins.

And Joseph, I start with Caracas, because that is a rogue state long associated with

Iran.

Is it also fair to say that it's long associated with Hisbalah?

And what does that mean about the immediate region, knowing these attacks?

Does that mean Bogota is aware of the Hisbalah links in Caracas?

Yeah.

Caracas, the Middle East and Venezuela is perhaps the biggest benefactor to Hasbalah

and Hamas in all of Latin America.

They are a regime that has facilitated this convergence, and what I see convergence is

the convergence of international terrorist networks, Hasbal and Hamas, with major drug cartels

in Latin America, the Mexicans, the Colombians, and obviously the Venezuelan sons, cartel,

cartel de los solos, but with a third overlapping circle, which would be these autocratic totalitarian

regimes.

And that's where you come in with Iran and with Venezuela.

So those three circles have converged to create networks that are tremendously powerful, well-funded,
