Hello fellow rebel capitalists hope you're well got a hat today is my birthday believe it or not I am 50 years old the big 5. Oh my the staff for the YouTube channel made me this custom hat and

0:19.4

custom t-shirt as well so we can add this to the end the Fed hat but let's get right into the first

0:26.7

story of the day and that is the Fed raising rates this week that's right They're currently at 4.25% but they'll most likely go to 4.5% or even higher. So how does that impact you? And even if you're watching this video after the fact I'm sure you're still asking the same question how do these rate hikes impact me personally? How does this impact my budget? So let's get over to this story from

0:55.8

CNBC title, The Federal Reserve is likely to hike interest rates once again. Here's what that

1:02.4

means for you. Now I did a live stream on the

1:05.4

George Gamin channel last night at a Q&A and someone asked me about this and I

1:09.4

said I thought they would raise 50 basis points, but I also said that I didn't know what the market expectations

1:50.0

So let's assume they do a 25 basis point hike.

1:53.6

That still means that they're going to have another hike

1:56.7

maybe at the next Fed meeting.

1:58.4

Key talking points, the Federal Reserve is widely expected to hike rates

2:02.4

one quarter of a percentage point, we said, at this

2:05.8

week's policy meeting as inflation starts to ease.

2:09.7

Still another interest rate increase will make borrowing more expensive. Here's what that means for

2:14.7

your wallet. Now one of the things we discussed last night, I can't remember it was the public

2:19.4

live stream, the Rebel Capital is pro, but it's the fact or the idea that I was encouraging people to think through.

2:28.8

So we were talking about the CPI and most people when they look at the the C. P. I.
