0:30.5	Derek, let's start with Israel Palestine, and specifically this new report on the Biden administration's ignoring of Israeli war crimes.
0:38.3	Yeah, I mean, we've seen many, many reports like this in recent weeks, but this one comes fresh from the Washington Post this week.
0:47.3	The Biden administration, I'm just reading from the beginning of the piece, has received nearly 500 reports,
0:53.3	alleging that Israel used U.S.
0:54.9	supplied weapons for attacks that caused unnecessary harm to civilians in the Gaza Strip,
0:59.4	but it has failed to comply with its own policies requiring swift investigations of such claims,
1:05.0	according to people familiar with the matter. Basically, the State Department has what it's,
1:09.9	what it calls the civilian harm incident response
1:12.9	guidance which obliges officials in the State Department when they get word of reports like this
1:21.2	to investigate them and recommend some course of action within two months under U US law, if the Israelis are violating international and US
1:32.0	humanitarian law with US weapons, they should not be getting US weapons
1:36.4	anymore. This is pretty cut and dried.
1:40.2	So as I say, this guidance that they have internally requires some course of action to be recommended out within two months.
1:49.5	Apparently, all 500 of these cases, not a single one has gotten through that process, despite many of them happening long, well more than two months ago,
