But we're going to kick this one off by talking a lot about this Chris VanVliet interview that John Cena has just done.

Of course, this is the week of his final match in pro wrestling at Saturday. That's main event. He faces Goonfer.

Yeah, and he's done kind of a tell-all with Chris. It's the usual high-quality stuff from Mr. VV.

And one of the most interesting things to me coming out of this is he's kind of admitted that

his heel term was just done for a moment rather than anything else.

So here's what he said.

He said that the yield term basically was not always the plan and it was just done to make

elimination chamber seem like a bigger event. He said that stuff you see on Unreal is real.

Like, we need to make chamber big, so let's do something that will shock everybody. Hey, man,

we got this idea. Sina said, no problem. I'll do the best I can with it. So, yeah, I mean, it certainly succeeded in making Elimination Chamber feel like a bigger event, feel like a more seismic event,

because how do you get much bigger, feeling-wise, in the moment, than he John Cena, he'll turn it.

It's something that people had been looking for for decades.

Somehow, you always probably would happen in that era where he was, his push was kind of,

you know, clumsy and a bit over the top.
