Other than his presence on the spurs bench, but this was a remarkable year not necessarily with the was I believe the Bucks job

We're five different people in the spurs organization were interviewed and so this was the first of that group to get a head coaching position

Borrego had a largely forgettable stint as in a rim coach for the magic

I'm not sure that that particularly played in his favor that that of course was not a good magic team at the time

But I would be hard pressed as well to really say what he stands for other than that

He has some head coaching experience as the interim and he was on the I mean

It's I don't know him that much personally not a guy who's really been in the limelight

There wasn't much discussion of like particularly what he was bondable for this first

I think a guy who was respected and had certainly had some interviews previously and it's I made this point on Twitter the other day

That a lot of times you probably wonder well, why is it that these tweets about coaches getting interview?

Like you know why do agents kind of call in favors for that kind of stuff and the reason is that nobody actually knows who's gonna be a good coach

Until they've coach and sometimes even when they have coach

They don't look good like in their next stop like Vogel in Orlando for example all the things that characterized Frank Vogel

And Indiana he wasn't really able to do those in Orlando

And so when there is a vacuum of information
