as possible for me. Yeah, my weekend was spent getting up at 6 a.m. on the Saturday to watch my beloved Rex and get beat, though I did get to see the new I Know What You Did Last Summer on Friday. So it's not all bad for me. I mean, a new I know what you did last summer movie here in the year 2025 that's got a theatrical run no less and is actually

Now, Brock hasn't been seen on WWE programming for, I mean, a fairer a while now, after being implicated in the Janelle Grant lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE. In fact, it's been nearly two years since Brock's most recent match that would be against Colley Roads as SummerSlam 2023.

With plans then for the Royal Rumble, 24 for Brock, they were put on hold.

WrestleMania 39 plans were scrapped.

There was Rummlands at a time that was going to be Brock and Gunther that WrestleMania, but yeah, everything was just completely dropped and Brock has been absent from TV for, like I said, nearly two years now.

While there have been occasional references to Lesnar at times, I mean, just on this, this past Friday smack down, Cody mentioned the Beast, and he didn't flinch and the other one he was doing this promo.

I mean, the Brock return, it looked highly unlikely at any time while this lawsuit is active.

According to a particular MMA icon, Brock is supposedly on a TKO band list.

That MMA icon, that would be former UFC light heavyweight champion and former UFC heavyweight champion of the world. Daniel Kormier, DC, yes, man, I love me some DC. These days, the commentator and analyst has his own YouTube show, has the brilliant, good guy, bad guy podcast with Cheos Son, and another personal favorite of mine. And not just is Daniel Kormier one of the modern day MMA great, but he's also a big wrestling fan. I remember a video at the time of Seth Rowling's heist of the century, wrestling age 31, and just Daniel Comey, recording his reaction, and he's just losing his mind. I think that was the first time I realized, like, oh, DC's a wrestling fan. He's also a big wrestling fan who came extremely close to fighting Brock Lesnar in the cage. For that, you have to go back to UFC 226 in 2018. The main event there, so DC defeats D.C. Meijochich to become the UFC heavyweight champion, which itself was followed by Brock Lesnar entering the octagon, having a face off with Cormier, I believe, remember rightly Brock pushes DC, and that was setting a stall for Daniel Cormier versus Brock Lesnar, a fight down the line.

Now, for those non-MMA fans out there, that fight never actually materialized. It didn't happen. Instead, Brock opted to re-sign with WWE rather than fight. And DC going on to have a rematch instead with Steepi, why he lost the belt back to Steepi. The topic of brought up less than all that came up during an appearance from Daniel Comeyay on Demetrius Johnson's Mighty Cast podcast earlier this week.
