And today, Adam, we really wanted to talk about what is going on in New York City with

new mayor, Eric Adams, purge of homeless encampments.

And you've been writing a bunch about this on your sub, so promoting your sub, the column,

And we wanted to look at how not only the media is reacting to this purge, this criminalization,

more criminalization of homelessness in New York City, not only this new purge of homeless

encampments in New York City as temperatures drop at the end of March here.

It is very cold.

But in the midst of what is happening, we are also seeing a number of puff pieces on

Eric Adams, namely a piece by Ruby Kramer in Politico, a profile that barely does anything

to discuss what is actually happening on the streets as mayor Adams has deployed at

least a thousand more cops into subways and has now destroyed upwards of 200 homeless

encampments.
