Hello, welcome to the Ringer F1 show part of the Ringer podcast Network.

I am your host, Megan Schuster, and we are here today to cover some news and notes heading into next week's Miami Grand Prix Spaners.

We are a mere 10 days away, 10-ish days away, I'm maybe rounding down there, from having real live on-track events, again, on the Formula One calendar.

How thrilled are you?

Yeah, and it also indicates us moving into a different

part of the year as well. So we're moving into spring. And I was a pub last night with my wife,

and we were both looking at the sky going, what's different? Oh, you can see the moon and stars.

The clouds are finally parted. It's a sunny day here in the UK. So most important thing is

pre-tan ready for Miami. You've got to get that base layer on. I will be laying outside today.

It is going to be 80 degrees in Minnesota, which is, I know you probably don't know what that is

in Celsius terms, and I don't know how to convert that for you, so I can't help. But, yeah, trying to get this, like, ghostly pale color away from myself before we get to

Miami. Before we get into the episode today, I did want to share some specific Miami updates,

because we will all be there, you, me, producer Steve, we will all be in Miami.

And we've got some very exciting opportunities lined up

where we could actually see some of your listener faces in person and interact in real life

if you feel so inclined to do so. First up, we will be hosting a live show at the Miami Grand Prix

Fan Fest, which we're so excited to do. That event is going to be held on Miami Beach,

I think, from Wednesday through Sunday. Our event specifically is going to be Thursday, April 30th,

starting at 4.30 p.m. It's a free event. You don't need any tickets. You don't need to RSVP.

Just please show up. Please hang out with us because if we're talking to an empty event will probably be pretty sad for the rest of the week. Oh no, that sounded too desperate, Meg. Please come and see our play. I am not above begging. I'm really not above begging. We're going to do improv. It will be all improv. Okay, who gives me an F1 team and an F1 team principal? Absolutely not. If you will be in Miami, please do come Thursday, April 30th, 430.
