What's up, everybody? Hello, welcome to another episode of the Week in Crime and Policing with Mayo and Mesao. My name is Mark DeMayo. It's my partner, Angel. I don't know what language that is. I've been called worse. I recall worse. My partner, Angel Masonette, we are both retired NYPD detectives.

And each week we cover the stories that are making headline news.

But before we do that, we like to catch up with each other because we usually don't talk during the week.

And we also like to say hello to the people that have joined this in the chat.

So let's start with Angel.

How was your week?

Well, it's been two weeks now because I had to take last week off.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Everything's good, man.

It was right week.

Could we do right after the new year?

We had a week.

No, we did one before the new year.

And then because we did one on the new year and then because um

we did one on monday night right after christmas right yeah and then uh then it was new years and i

had to skip that one yeah so it's been good man happy new year to everybody um thanks for uh

tuning in and uh the support but uh everything's been good man i can't complain thank god

everybody's happy everybody's

healthy yeah happy new year to all the police off the cuff family so i heard i heard today on

the radio that the etiquette is after the first week uh of new years you're not supposed to say

happy new year anymore so i think i think we won't pass the week.

So we're breaking etiquette here, but we haven't seen you guys.
