Today's word of the day is 'sampson' as in misspelling my name as in Brody's as in how the New York Mets misspelled Brodie Van Wagenen's name in a press release last night. Why was a press release warranted? Well, Brodie got caught on a live mic talking poorly about MLB commissioner Rob Manfred and owner Jeff Wilpon. What a disaster. How as this leaked? IT WASN'T! The Mets 'accidentally' posted the feed onto the team's website. Woof (0:06). The NBA continues to get things right. Regardless of what your view is on them, just listen to me here. Games will be played on Saturday. After two days of protest. After countless meetings. After getting tangible action items listed. Let's hope change soon comes. But something happened in one of those meetings that needs to be talked about. Patrick Beverley said something so disrespectful to union boss Michelle Roberts that Chris Paul, Udonis Haslem, and other players had to put him in check. Wow (16:55). Review - Lean on Pete (28:20). 1:15.5	Brewers had decided not to play. I was upset that there was a lack of unanimity and response
1:23.5	lewide by Major League Baseball. And I knew that the next day teams were going to make up for that and they did.
1:30.5	Now one team who played the night the Brewers took off, which would have been Wednesday night.
1:35.5	None of them played last night. The only teams who played last night were the teams who didn't play the night before.
1:45.5	So the Metz Marlins had not postponed their game officially. There had been no talk.
1:52.5	Is it going to be postponed? Is it not going to be postponed? The players were talking to each other.
2:00.5	All of a sudden out of nowhere, I'm minding my own business. And I get a DM from one of you, a listener to nothing personal,
2:10.5	who DMs and I do look at them sometimes not when they come, but I really do look at them.
2:17.5	And someone said you won't believe this video of Brody Van Wagonen. Brody Van Wagonen is the GM of the Metz.

2:42.5	He was caught on video, apparently criticizing Rob Manford for Rob Manford's leadership of Major League Baseball.
