close out 2025 than a listener mailbag our questions today include some early impressions i have about

oregon quarterback dante more what the jets can do to upgrade this roster during the course of the

2026 off season and how much blame goes to Jets head coach Aaron Glenn for the

terrible season the team is having and that's where we will begin our first question I'm I wanted to

preface this by saying I'm not trying to defend Glenn and the job he has done this year if he was

fired after the season I would not bat an eye but I agree with your stance he needs to either be

fired or the Jets need to commit to

him for the next two years. I have two thoughts to justify the Jets sticking with him.

Number one, Glenn has clearly been tanking by playing Brady Cook. It's evidence he's nowhere

near the quarterback Taylor or Fields are, and with these receivers, the offense has no

shot to score enough to win in the NFL. The results are awful and embarrassing, but moved towards the tank. Number two, the linebackers and edge players have regressed, no doubt, but the secondary is in complete shambles with injuries. They've lost Sauce and Michael Carter II from trades. Brownlee, A.Z, Cisco Adams, and now Stiggers, Oliver, are now hurt. Besides Stevens, you are playing extremely low talent levels who have not worked together.

You cannot call complicated zone schemes because of a lack of time together that forces either soft zones and then leaves it up to tackling or man coverage with these guys will get beaten.

It was similar to years past where the offensive line was so

devastated with injuries, you knew the offense had no shot. So I think that two things can be

true. I think number one, it can be true that the Jets' talent level is terrible and that we cannot

expect the Jets to win games. I think at the same time, it can be true that the coaching staff is doing a really, really bad
