Testing, testing. I'm just bullshitting you. I definitely know that I'm recording and I know exactly what it sounds like because this is episode number six.

Hi everyone welcome back to the pod. I'm Lexi Lombard your host of the at Lexi podcast and

this episode is slightly delayed, purposefully so, last week's news cycle was robust, to say the least.

A little storm of the Capitol, a mild breach in security, a little white

supremacist domestic terrorism going on. No biggie, we're used to it. I say this all the time.

To my friends that I think the biggest thing that

2020 has taken away from us is our ability to be surprised. There is nothing on

this goddamn planet that you could tell me that I wouldn't believe anymore. on this

God damn planet that you could tell me that I wouldn't believe anymore.

Anything seems possible.

Everything seems like it's falling apart.

I do have faith though in the people my age. I have so much faith in my friends and my peers and the generation below me I can already see massive changes happening.

We're just I think on the edge of it now that this

is necessarily a political podcast. However, we're just living in a very very

political climate as technically always I mean I could say that about my entire life it's just right now things are quite

sensitive and with this new cycle that has existed ever since cell phones and this it the internet I guess just that this

instantaneous news opportunity where as soon as there's breaking news

they all just want to get the story out to us

as quickly as possible so they can get as many

views as possible so I don't even know what the real story is half the time

because the accuracy comes secondary most of the time or it's just commentary

based not necessarily as factual
