Welcome back to WasitReal, the Hills Rewatch podcast. I'm Adriana Patrick here with my co-host

Heidi Montag Pratt and Frankie Delgado. So Brody actually isn't able to join us today,

unfortunately, but we're still going to be bringing you an exciting episode. We are going to

be breaking down season two episode nine. It's titled New Year, New Friends, which originally aired

on March 12th, 2007. The way to age me a little, huh? We're going to do this every time. I know.

What a sad day. No Brody. I know he's on his baby moon right now. He's in a spiritual retreat with

his baby mama. Yep. And we're going to miss you Brody. I know we are. Well, this is your first

episode without him. Yeah, I feel lonely. Oh, great. You're welcome. I know. Right? Oh, man.

But I got Heidi and Adriana. So let's get this going. We got you. We got you. I'm in good company.

Well, the synopsis of this episode is that Spencer repeatedly puts pressure on Heidi into

moving in with him while Lauren is celebrating New Year's Eve with her Laguna Pals and Adriana,

which she's now becoming the BFF. Yeah, I feel like this was the episode. Even when I watched it,

I forgot so many of these memories. I was like, God, I forgot that even happened. But it's like,

this is where Lauren and I really kind of start becoming friends and hanging out more because

Heidi's in love with Spencer and just the whole dynamic starts to shift.

But you're you're you're you're kind of nervous about this question like he's like

moving with me and you're not like this. Yeah, Spencer is really adamant. And I wonder what

that really was. What if I was moving out of the condo and I was going to get a house

with Princess Heidi? No, maybe so Spencer was the first person I ever lived with or guy I ever

lived with alone. You know, I had that safety net with Lauren and that's just like such a big step.
