Katie Magbonawa, of course she's serving a life sentence

after having a possible plea deal slip from her hands.

And then you know the rest of the story, Charlie Adelson convicted last November 6th of

2023 coming up on a year and now his mother Donna the matriarch of the family

Donna Sue was set to stand trial beginning right now. I was up there. I was in Tallahassee.

Lo and behold, a last second motion filed by Charlie's new appellate attorney, Michael Ufferman, who by all accounts is one of the best appellate attorneys in the country,

said, hey, you're not signing any waiver of a conflict of interest.

BAM, the dominoes start to fall.

There's an emergency hearing at the Leon County Courthouse.

I was in there with everyone else who was there.

It was a sparse crowd for this part of it.

And our collective jaws hit the floor

when we heard that Dan Rashbaum, both Charlie and Donna's defense attorney,

was dropping out of the case.
