truck drivers clogged the CB airwaves with their radio traffic.

One driver chirped into report that he saw something on. He'd caught a glimpse of a barefoot

woman walking along in her state 10 dressed in a blue plaid shirt and jeans, carrying a baby.

Drivers stopped to offer the distressed woman a ride, but she refused, and

tucked her crying baby, tied her into a blanket in her arms. Nearly 40 years later,

everyone is still asking what happened to this woman and her baby girl.
