Hey Liberty. What's going on? What's kicking chicken? I'm actually really excited. My life has been like extra bookish lately. I last night I my

wife and I went to a small private dinner literary event for a nonprofit called Litquake here in San Francisco and they are having like dinners with authors and it was at a private home and there were only about you know

ten of us or something like that and it was with Annalee Newitz, who is a local author and their newest book is

Stories Are Weapons, Psychological Warfare and the American Mind. And I'm obsessed with this book like it's terrifying I think it's so necessary

for everyone to read right now as far ahead of the election as possible But I just got to sit with people and have dinner for three hours and listen to

Annaly talk about their books and get to know them and it was really like amazing and lovely and I'm just kind of like

writing the high of of that being around other bookish people in person.

Yeah, it's funny because sometimes I forget since I spend so much time speaking with

bookish people and looking at books and you know just books

those books all the time that I feel like a lot of people don't read you know when I

go out in the world and I'm talking people were like you talk

you're like what who huh so yeah not everyone reads I remember when I had

started at my current job, someone who I won't call them out, but my first day they were like,

I haven't read a book in over a year and I'm like that's why would you tell me that?

It's just like anything else that's not for everyone you know like any other like

interest or hobby or however you have it in your life
