For those people yearning for a new political force to come along,

I bring great news.

It has been launched and not just one.

As the Times revealed last week,

more than 50 new parties were registered last year

and more than a dozen more have signed up

with the Electoral Commission since the start of this year. I'm joining the studio by

Lucy Fisher, the Times Senior Political Correspondent who crunched the numbers on this
