Hello and welcome to the game theory offseason preview series where Bryce Simon and I

break down what every single NBA team, all 30 of them, have in store this summer during

the off season.

Today, Bryce, we're going to talk about the New Orleans Pelicans, a team where I literally

just kind of throw my hands up and say, hey, they might try and be buyers.

They might try to be sellers.

They might just retain everything on the roster.

I don't know is the answer.

Like you could tell me that there is a real pathway here and I would get it.

You could tell me that they're just kind of flying by the

seat of their pants a little bit. I would get that. They have so many different options on the

table and I'm just not totally sure what avenue they're going to take. It's kind of what I would

say about this situation. Yeah, I mean, it's an interesting one when you look at their just their their caps sheet, right, over on Spot Track in that they are one of those teams that just have a lot of guys on the books for next year.

Now, like Kavana Looney and Carlo Mikovic, they could, you know, they have club options.

They could get off of those.

But Zion, Poole, Murray, Murphy Jones, the young players, the rookies, Sadiq Bay,

those guys are all under contract at least for 26, 27.

And so, you know, this is one of those teams where the cap space route isn't really something we have to talk about.

You know, we've had a few of those already where it's like, do they go under?

Do they go over?

You know, the Lakers obviously can go under the Pistons.

We even with the Hawks, right?
