today I'm sharing with you a conversation I had over at my friend Kay, Yma's house. She invited

me back to be on her say something show, her VOD cast. She'd definitely go check that out.

I couldn't refuse the offer, the invitation because we're gonna be chatting with Drew Waters.

Now Drew used to be in the Navy and then he decided to pursue his passion which was being in the film

and entertainment industries. Been on several shows and movies and one show you may have heard of

Friday night lights. That's right. He was on several episodes of that show and then he decided

to start making his own films. He has joined partner Aaron Bethia. You might know Aaron from

the movie Fireproof and Aaron plays the lead actress role in this film that Drew has written

and directed called New Life and that's the topic of our conversation today. Aaron and Drew were

hoping to create inspirational movies that weren't in your face Christian but allowed for a great

conversation about life and faith and hope. So this film New Life, it follows this boy Benjamin

Morton and he meets a young girl Ava. Ava was and always would be the girl of his dreams.

From their innocent childhood friendship and their adolescent attraction, their love you just watch

it, strengthen and grow and then their life takes a turn neither of them expected and their whole

future is called into question. So this movie New Life explores the ups and downs that we all know

about life and love and it shows us that even in the good times or the bad life can be

approached with hope and there's always an opportunity for something new to grow out of that broken

place. New Life is opening in theaters on October 28th to see if it's coming to a theater
