and today I'm chatting with singer, parody writer, author, mom, Jordan Watts.

And I did a survey a few months ago of about 300 women, moms, they were all moms.

And yeah, and one of the first questions was, how do you basically, how do you feel like

you're doing in life as a mom, in comparison to all the other moms around you, all the

other Christian moms, and this was for believing moms.

Two percent of 300 women said they felt like they were doing as good of a job or better

than their peers.

That means 98% of the moms felt like they were subpar.

When they looked around them, they thought, man, I'm not doing this good of a job as

whatever.

Meanwhile, that person's thinking, thinking this thing about her, right?

It's just this veil that we hide behind like, I don't want to put my ugly out there,

because everybody all seems to have it together.

But at the end of the day, God doesn't need our perfection.

But I think his moms, for me, bringing this back to kind of that idea of the heavy loads,

the burdens, and the fact that God says, there's a different way to live.

You can live and bond to these things, to this sense of perceived control, or you can

walk in freedom and let me be in control.

Again, it's a choice, and he holds it there available to us, but he's not going to force

our hand.
