Our next guest has a rich history with the state of Indiana.

Grew up in West Lebanon, a Miss Indiana basketball winner, national title winner with Purdue,

longtime relationships, both as a player and as a coach with the Indiana fever and, of course,

a decorated coach in her own right returns home, made official last week and now made official

yesterday with introductory press conferences. It's head coach of the Indiana Fever.

Hey, I'm doing well. How are you?

I'm doing great. Thank you so much for making the time for us. I know you've gotten a lot

of this, no doubt, but welcome home.

Glad to have you back in the Hoosier state.

I know that this has been asked in a couple different ways,

but when you initially depart from the fever back in 2015 or 2016 and take the Vanderbilt job,

did you ever envision that you might make it back here someday?

When you took the Vanderbilt job,

did you ever think that you might return to Indiana someday?

I really never did.

You know, I thought, I certainly had hoped at some point that my career would bring me back to Indiana,

but never really thought that it would. And it's incredible the way the stars have aligned

and the way that this opportunity came about.
