Well, I teased it this way yesterday.

It's a day that could change everything.

NFL trade deadline day, of course.

Where are the Colts going to be from a mentality standpoint?

Are they buyers?

Would they, dare I say, be sellers?

Will they just stand pat and continue to work with the average operation that they have going right now

with still so many issues at a number of positions that would help get them in a better

spot to be the contender that they claim to be.

And that could extend a lot of different ways, whether you're saying it's a contender for

a Super Bowl that I think is far-fetched

or a playoff spot that is certainly obtainable given the muck that is around that section

of the AFC and the Colts favorable schedule moving forward. But in all seriousness, it is election day. Hope you

be able to get out, vote, do everything you want to do. That'll be the extent of that conversation

today. I'd like to use this as an escapism, a place to focus on the sports world and get away

from the rest of that. And for the Colts, regrettably, I know that's not the happiest place to escape two

because of where they're at and the fact that Shane Steik is now appearing on betting markets

for a coach to potentially be let go this season.

He's middle of that market.

I'm not saying that means anything, but that is how crazy this conversation has shifted

in the last week from the decision to bench Anthony Richardson for Joe Flacco, the colossal failings that the offense had for the matchup against Minnesota on Sunday night to now the idea that, well, could they go back?

Could they reverse course?
