Okay, so this podcast contains an interview I had with a man named Colton Miller, and I had heard him on another podcast and was really interested in the things that he had to

say. So I recorded this back in the fall and then I moved to Georgia and in that move, I lost the

file and had forgotten about it. And the other day I was talking on the other podcast and remembered this beautiful interview. So I found it, but the beginning of it was missing. So I just wanted to catch you up real quick what he was saying at the beginning. He got home from his mission and met with his stake president to be released. And his state president was talking about section

four of the doctrine and covenant and how sometimes when we're on our mission, we fill our silos,

so to speak, with Christ-like attributes and experiences of faith and service. And then when

missionaries get home, sometimes they use up those stores and that we constantly have to keep

thrusting in our sickles with our might and filling our silos, right, so that we don't end up

with empty silos. And so this is what prompted this interview and the thoughts that he's sharing about how he basically

stopped filling his silo and what happened. So without further ado, here is Colton.

I finished that meeting with the state president, that post-mission interview release meeting. And, you know, that idea

got planted in my mind. And I did a semester at Snow College where I got introduced to door

to door sales. And I started dating actually.

So my wife and I actually flew home

on the same airplane from our missions.

So she served in the Nebraska Omaha mission as well.

She served in the winter quarters visitor center.

So half of her time was at the visitor center,

half of her time was proselyting in an area.

And anyways, we knew each other a little bit on the mission, but we had a layover in Detroit on the way home. And just through some small talk, I learned that she was from Eagle

Mountain. And at the time, my oldest brother, Ty, was living there. So I said,
