This is Doctrine and Covenants 58 through 59, anxiously engaged in a good cause.

I'm really excited about this lesson.

It has been done in two parts.

I'm going to publish one today and then another one tomorrow.

And I interviewed two beautiful women with amazing stories of faith and fortitude and grace.

And their stories will really touch you. And i'm sure that they will change your life

and one of the reasons i know for a fact that they will change your life is because it seems like

nothing has been held back to try to stop me from getting this out i got so sick over the weekend

i did the interview my. I did the interview. My gosh, I did the

interviews late in the week and then got sicker than a dog. Saturday and Sunday, I was down

flat. Like I couldn't even move on Saturday. And then today has been enjoyable. I've worked all

day on finishing editing these up and my computer just ate the last one that I worked on for about three hours. I do have a backup so I can start over on editing that one tomorrow. But it always seems like things go wrong when it's something that's important that's going to be said.

So let's just read the intro from the manual. It says, when the elders of the church first saw

the site of the city of Zion, Independence, Missouri, it was not what they expected. Some thought

they would find a thriving, industrious community with a

strong group of saints. Instead, they found a sparsely populated outpost, lacking the civilization they

were used to, and inhabited by rough frontier settlers rather than saints. It turned out that

the Lord wasn't asking them to just come to Zion.

He wanted them to build it.

When our expectations do not match reality, we can remember what the Lord told the saints in 1831.
