1. In March of this offseason, Jakob Johnson did an interview with a media network in his hometown of Stuggart, Germany. During the interview he said his position had been "eliminated" from the Patriots offense.

2. This is significant, because at fullback, he played more than 300 offensive snaps and the Patriots in total ran 23% of their offensive snaps with at least two running backs on the field. If the position is eliminated, where do those snaps go?

3. I believe that they will largely become passing snaps. New England still had a lot of success running out of 3 WR sets and the addition of Parker gives them a viable trio of wide receivers to rely on.

4. There are other signs to more passes and up tempo offense coming in 2022. Mac Jones went through an extreme weight loss and conditioning program, beat reporters have consistent spoke about how much quicker the offense looks on field, and McDaniels is out as the play caller.

5. While Belichick assumes responsibility for the play calling duties, Patricia will be inserted as the stand in OC. Considering the loss of JC Jackson and key pieces in the middle of the Patriots defense, they will be forced into more zone coverage than man, which will change the defensive look overall against a much more difficult schedule of quarterbacks.

I think the Patriots score a ton of points in 2022 - while giving up just as many, or more. Their totals are too low, and this is a prime over team in the season ahead.

Good morning, everybody. Today is Monday, August 8th, another week of NFL team previews and a weekend of NFL preseason betting.

There were two bets that I sent out on the text message list. I had Miami, Tampa Bay under 32 and a half.

0:17.1

And then I had Baltimore, Tennessee, under 33 and a half.

0:22.0

Both of those releases moved within about 60 seconds.

0:26.4

It was very, very quick.

0:27.7

Numbers were gone.

0:29.3

Now, I know some people experienced a delay with the text message being delivered.

0:35.6

That is something that is on the cellular carrier side,

0:39.5

and it is something that I am working to sort out with the software provider. One thing that

0:46.2

caught me off guard was how quickly these are moving, but also how many people are joining the

0:51.3

text list. And so it's difficult to find something that works for everybody.

0:56.1

And I'm working towards that.

0:57.8

So bear with me as we go through the preseason.

1:00.4

I know it looks really bad and is frustrating if you're on the delay side.

1:04.5

But I'm working to sort that out.

1:06.8

And I believe that it is going to be the right solution for everybody.

1:10.3

Because as I was saying on Twitter, Discord is great, Slack is great, everything about the live chat.

1:17.1

I'm all for it.

1:18.5

But you have to put yourself kind of in my shoes if you're in that camp and realize that there's a lot of people within my list which skews the average age 42 and a half.

1:29.5

A lot of people struggle to download the extra app either because they don't know how or they don't want to.

1:35.9

It's something else they have to remember when I was doing it on Twitter last year.

1:39.9

I got a lot of complaints that the notifications were erratic in Slack for all of you that were
