Today we are talking about Tesla's new board chair,

as well as a couple updates for Model 3.

Tesla stock on the day finished up 0.93% to $3.51.40 is compared to the NASDAQ down 0.53%.

I've been pretty happy with the performance of Tesla stock as of late.

I think it's been doing well with kind of a slow uptrend in what has been a very

volatile market, which can sometimes be a little bit tricky for Tesla to navigate through.

Hopefully some of the macro volatility will be reduced now that midterm elections are over.

I think if we continue to see that stability and we continue to see Tesla executing fundamentally,

there shouldn't be any reason that Tesla does not continue to rise from here.

Speaking of stability, late last night or early this morning, depending on your time zone,

Tesla announced that they have a new chair of the board,

announcing that Robin Den Home will be filling that

position as Elon Musk steps down as chair of the board. I mention stability because

Robin has been on Tesla's board since 2014 which obviously gives her a ton of familiarity with

Tesla and how it operates. To me that is a good thing. There are many people out

there that would say that Tesla can execute a lot better than it has executed.

And while at certain times that has been true, overall if you look at the big picture, Tesla

has done exceedingly well growing both the business and value for shareholders.
