I truly believe that this bill will allow America to experience growth, that it will allow our communities to thrive, that it will spark our economy, that it will help farmers and ranchers, that it will take care of the vulnerable.

And more than anything, I truly believe this bill protects Medicaid for the future.

I was Republican Congressman Mike Flood of Nebraska defending his vote on President Trump's so-called

one big beautiful bill last night at a town hall. The question is, will other Republicans do the same,

facing potentially hostile crowds during

their August recess?

Meanwhile, Democrats in Texas have stalled, at least for now, a GOP-led effort to redraw congressional

maps.

It comes as Democratic leaders in other states have promised to retaliate with new maps of

their own.

The question is, could this have unintended consequences for Republicans in those blue states?

Plus, Attorney General Pam Bondi has ordered a grand jury investigation into the Obama administration's review of the 2016 election.

The question is, is this just another distraction to appease President Trump?
