Do you notice they go to Illinois for safety? But that's all gerrymandered. California's gerrymandered.

We should have many more seats in Congress in California. It's all gerrymandered. And we have an opportunity

in Texas to pick up five seats. We have a really good governor and we have good people in Texas.

And I won Texas. I got the highest vote in the history of Texas,

as you probably know. And we are entitled to five more seats.

That was President Trump doubling down on redistricting efforts in Texas.

It comes as top Republicans in that state are trying to force Democratic lawmakers to return home.

The question is, what can they legally

do about it? Also, had a major development tied to the Jeffrey Epstein case, as the House committee

investigating it has sent subpoenas to the Clintons and several top former DOJ officials. The question

is, will they actually end up testifying before Congress? Plus, some Democrats are now targeting Republican districts holding town halls there.

The question is, is that an effective strategy ahead of next year's midterms?

That's the news out of the Lone Star State, where the escalating fight over Republican-led redistricting efforts are still going off in Texas.

Governor Greg Abbott filed an emergency petition yesterday with the Texas Supreme Court to remove state representative Gene Wu, who is also the Texas House Democratic caucus chair.

That lawsuit claims Wu violated the state constitution and that his absence amounts to

abandoning his office.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton says he'll try to

expel several House Democrats if they don't return to Austin by Friday. But the AG has already

acknowledged that would be a lengthy process, requiring him to bring individual lawsuits in each
