I have a t-shirt that I like to wear sometimes that says don't let your Monday ruin your Sunday.

Well, the opposite is true for the Kansas City Chiefs. Their Monday is going to be much better than their Sunday.

And that's where we begin this holiday week episode of Kevin Keatsman has issues where at 3 o'clock on Monday afternoon,

the governor of Kansas Laura Kelly is expected to make an announcement that the Kansas City Chiefs are moving to Kansas, building a brand new stadium at the Legends, and moving their corporate headquarters to K-10 and Ridgeview in Olathe.

That is what is expected to happen on Monday.

They will use Starbond sales taxes to fund this over 25 to 30 years and the chiefs after meeting with the

legislative council at one o'clock today where i think they will put their basically their

not final proposal but an organized proposal before this board at one o'clock the board will

accept that and say we're going to approve star bonds for this project. We will move forward.

The government will announce that the Kansas, state of Kansas has every intention and purpose of hosting the Kansas City Chiefs and being the home of the Kansas City Chiefs for the next, well, at least 30 years of the new stadium and maybe 75 or 100 years, depending on how long a stadium could last.

And they will have about six months to iron out all the details.

They'll need to get some money from probably Wyandotte County or Kansas City, Kansas,

the city of Olathe, Johnson County, whatever for these other facilities.

That will be the little detail things.

But make no mistake about it, if the chiefs are going to Topeka today

at 1 o'clock and they're meeting with the legislative council, the LCC legislative council,

and the governor is making an announcement at 3 o'clock, this is about the chiefs moving to Kansas.

So we're getting that information, I feel certain, on Monday. And at that point, knowing the chiefs

the way that I know the chiefs and the way they

operate, there is no turning back. They're closing the book on Missouri. They don't want to vote

in Jackson County in April. They don't want to hear about anything else with the Truman Sports
