This is the story of the time Joseph had a ridiculously bad case of hiccups.

And when I say it was a bad case, we're not talking about an hour or even a day.

After one full week, Joseph's hiccups had still not gone away.

His sister Dorothy found him annoying on a good day, but to add in some never-ending

hiccups, she absolutely couldn't stand it. Joseph, if I have to listen to one more hiccup that I'm

leaving this house and never coming back, do you hear me? Dorothy, you said that 500 hiccups ago,

and 500 hiccups before that and you're still

here. Besides, how do you think I feel? Dorothy glared at her brother. I bet you feel proud of

yourself for driving your sister bonkers. It's like, are these hiccups even real?
