We hope you enjoy the message. And Well, when I showed up to Texayana University as a freshman, before my classes even started.

I just want to share with you my first encounter with prayer

on Texas A&M's campus.

My roommate and I, we were sitting in our dorm room just getting settled in and

someone came and knocked on our door and invited us to a night of prayer out on

the front lawn in front of the administration building that's kind of on the main drive into campus.

And so my roommate and I, we were both believers and so we decided that we were going to go to this prayer gathering.

And so we make our way out to the front line and we all kind of gather around the flagpole that's there and it's late at night and we gather with

maybe 15-20 students and we all just start praying.

And so we pray, one personal pray

and then that person's done,

then the next person'll pray.

And this went on for probably an hour

where it was just kind of bouncing around.

And this was a big deal for me because I had been a part of different worship gatherings and I'd

been a part of prayer moments that life and so they're reached a point during that maybe hour that first hour hour and a half that I began to lose focus okay and it kind of turned from this is really awesome being at college praying with people to it's time for the

last person to kind of take it and close this thing up and so finally we get around

to someone who there's been enough silence that has happened and so one

guy begins to pray and he prays for a while and then he says amen.

And I'm just being honest with you guys. This story does not make me sound like a good person, but when he said
