You know, these are key components that you definitely

need to understand in order to grow. There have been many instances in life where I've encountered people who were afraid to assert themselves and

ask questions when they clearly didn't know the answer or how to solve whatever problem they were having or they just were too timid to speak up for themselves.

So people run all over them and you're gonna have to learn how to do that because if you don't, then you'll end up feeling

like a fool and then looking like one and then people will feel like they can walk all over you.

Now let me clarify this in the way that I feel that has worked best for me.

When you assert yourself, you don't do it in a way that's disrespectful or in an argumentative way.

You simply just stand up for yourself when you need to and you feel okay about doing that.

Remember, don't meet people at their level, have them meet you at your level.

So when you assert yourself and you make it known that you're not going to be walked all over, people will understand exactly what you mean

and you don't have to yell, you don't have to shout, you don't have to threaten them with violence, You don't have to do any of that.

It's because you're so confident in what you've said and you stand by it so people

won't even think twice about trying to, you know, play around with you.

And on the topic of asking questions when you don't know something, it's perfectly okay to ask someone

to explain something when you don't understand. You're not stupid, you're not an idiot for that.

You know, I read a quote one time and it's one of my favorite quotes of all times and I forget who it's by but it said

You know a wise man knows that he knows nothing at all

There is not one person on this planet in this universe besides the creator that knows everything

So it's okay if you're having a conversation with a group of people or with someone and they say something

and you don't quite understand it, it's okay to say, okay, well I'm not sure what that means, could care to explain? It's okay.

Nobody's going to think you are stupid or no one is going to try to belittle you for asking a question. They're actually going to
