text today, Psalm chapter 34 in verse 17 through 19 in the new living translation of the scriptures.

The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.

What good news that is. The Lord is close to the broken heart. He rescues those whose spirits are crushed. The righteous person

faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time. I'm speaking today simply from the subject, never alone, never alone.

You may be seated.

Isn't it interesting that while most people will avoid you like the plague whenever you're having

a hard time, get in dire streets and see how many people

run to you. Get depressed and see how many people run to you. Get criticized. Get canceled in social

media and see how many people run to you to encourage you. But God never runs away from us. When you're at your lowest,

that's when he's at his closest. He shows up at the time that you need him most. Because when you

find true champions, they don't run from a challenge, they run to a challenge.

They are sort of like, now, you've got to be skilled and confident to run to a challenge.

They're sort of like firemen.

The firemen don't run from the fire.

They run to the fire.

They rush to the fire.

So when our lives are on fire, God is not running away from us.

He has the thing to be able to calm the situation. And I want you to understand, God's not trying to, you know, I'm not trying to be, you know, a current person. I'm trying to be a prophetic person.

And there's a difference.

One of them is where you assume that based on what's going on in the world today, that you can set the agenda of God.

God's agenda is the thing that he declares from the heavens.

You don't try to take the word and make the word conform to your situation.
