We're going to revisit depression and anxiety from more of a biocococosocial perspective.

And Julie is going to jump on in a second to talk about something called neurotransmission.

Depression and anxiety, as I've alluded to before, are the common

colds of mental illness. And we were talking like, why mental illness sounds,

yeah, kind of harsh, but, you know, we were talking about we want to destigmatize

mental health and mental illness, but it's kind of like a double-edged sword.

I look at it as you want to destigmatize it to a degree that it's acknowledgeable, but you do not to diminish the

integrity and severity of will stick with anxiety and depression, because these are disorders

that are consuming. These are disorders that are consuming.

These are disorders that, again, do not have any overt physical manifestations.

You know, maybe crying or something called psychomotor retardation where someone is just

very lethargic, doesn't want to move.
