Summary

In this week’s episode, Gretchen starts with a little life update, sweet family time with her dad and stepmom, the dogs doing better, and a few very unfiltered thoughts on the internet’s latest chaos. Then she gets into something she knows inside and out: network marketing, social media, and why so many people are sitting on a huge opportunity without fully going for it.

She breaks down the difference between people who actually build something and people who stay stuck, from being coachable and consistent, to understanding that this business is simple, but not easy. Gretchen also talks about mindset, showing up authentically online, treating your platform like a real brand, and why half-in, half-out energy will never get you the results you want.

If you’ve ever felt like you’ve lost your confidence postpartum, you’re second guessing your voice, or you know you’re not showing up with both feet in, this episode is the kick up the ass and the perspective shift you probably need.

I hope everyone is having a beautiful day. I'm in a chipper motherfucking mood. So that's why I'm

recording this. Because the other day when I was going to record this, I was not in a chipper motherfucker mood. I keep forgetting to do like the life updates or whatever

0:41.0

before each episode because I just get so excited to talk about why I'm crying all the time,

0:45.8

just kidding. And I also forget that people even care. But my dad and my stepmom,

0:49.9

they just left this morning, which we are so sad about. They were here this week. And it was just the most

0:55.4

wholesome, special few days in the world. All I've ever wanted for Lenin was to have amazing

grandparents. And that is what she has on both sides. And I feel so insanely lucky for the people

1:09.2

that Lenin gets to grow up with, who get to see her grow up,

1:14.3

who get to teach her things, who she gets to mimic their personalities.

1:18.4

I'm so protective of her and who she learns from, especially at this young age.

Troy and I were talking about it, and we just feel so insanely blessed that everyone who we choose

1:29.2

to surround ourselves with with Lenin are amazing human beings. So I feel so lucky. One of the

1:34.9

things that I love most about my community is so many people be like, Gretch, how could I be a better

1:39.3

this or how could I be a better this? Which I love that we're all striving to be that, right?

1:44.0

But I definitely

1:45.2

have had some messages of people being like, hey, what do you think makes a great grandparent?

1:50.0

Or what do you think makes a great mom? Because you know what it's like to have a bad mom.
