Your streaming habit is about to get a little more expensive.

Netflix announced earlier this month it was boosting the cost to most of its North American plans a buck or two per month.

The prices went into effect immediately for new subscribers and will roll out in the coming weeks for existing ones.

The last time Netflix raised prices was roughly a year and a half ago,

when folks were stuck at home because of the pandemic. It was a golden age for streaming

services as people searched for entertainment. That led to a surge in streaming app downloads

and new players on the scene, not to mention the popularity of series like Tiger King.

There wasn't a lot of concern that an extra dollar or two was going to be a deal breaker, especially with all of the
