Our top stories. Donald Trump said he would soon make a decision on a deal with Iran.

In a social media post, he wrote that the Strait of Hormuz must be reopened to commercial shipping

and that America would lift its blockade. Meanwhile, U.S. Central Command warned that it would

target mine-laying vessels, quote, in self-defense, as part of a military operation in the Strait of

Hormuz.

Benjamin Netanyahu said he directed Israel's armed forces to seize at least 70% of Gaza.

The Prime Minister's order would violate a ceasefire agreement that America brokered in October, in which Israel agreed to leave just over half of the enclave occupied.

Meanwhile, Israel continued striking southern Lebanon, despite a supposed ceasefire.

Dell's share price soared by 35%, reaching a record high on Friday after it reported that demand for its AI servers increased

more than eightfold in its first quarter. The surge boosted total sales at the American hardware

manufacturer by 88% year-on-year to $43.8 billion. The company also secured a five-year $9.7 billion contract with the

Pentagon this week. A federal judge temporarily blocked the Trump administration from

implementing a $1.8 billion fund to pay alleged victims of government, quote, lawfare. The anti-weaponization

fund is facing several lawsuits. In this one, a group of challenges argued that it would unfairly

benefit people claiming to have been harmed by democratic, but not Republican administrations.
