An address to a joint session of the US Congress is a relatively rare honor recorded to foreign dignitaries.

Winston Churchill did it three times.

The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin D'Anyahu, has now done it four times.

But there are many who believe he doesn't deserve that honor because of Israel's conduct of the war in Gaza where close to 39,000 people have now been

killed.

According to Hamas, deemed a terror organization by many Western governments and which attacked

Israel last October 7th, killing 1,200 people.

More than 30 Democratic lawmakers refused to attend the session, including influential

former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Last night, hundreds of Jewish activists from around the United States staged a protest inside the Capitol,

saying they opposed Mr. Netagnanhous visit.

The protesters wore red t-shirts proclaiming not in our name, and Jews say stop arming Israel.

Police eventually remove them arresting over 250.

And today thousands more protesters gathered outside the capital calling for a ceasefire

for the immediate release of the Israeli hostages, many waving

Palestinian flags and playing Arabic music, again many of them Jewish. Well, Mr Netignyah, who finished his speech just over an hour ago.
