Hello everyone. Outside again. I think outside is where we have to be. I think outside might be the final

manifestation of freedom in this world in which freedom is becoming less and less certain.

I worry all the time about freedom of speech.

It's so obvious, palpable, the extent to which what we say online, if it doesn't agree with the powers that be, then it's increasingly stifled.

You kind of sense that it's increasingly stifled.

You kind of sense that it's only a matter of time before it becomes, well, illegal to disagree with the narrative.

So for as long as it lasts, each of us has to take the opportunity to speak.

And I think being outside might be where we end up

speaking freely. We might have to come away from screens and gather together outside and

take the opportunity there to speak and conspire.

So there's the castle up there on its crag and tail.

The castle of one form or another has been in existence for a thousand years, maybe more.

Some of the original credit goes to Malcolm Canmore.

Canmore means big head.

And Malcolm Canmore is the Malcolm from Shakespeare's Macbeth.

It was Malcolm Canmore who eventually slew Macbeth in revenge for Macbeth's murder of Duncan,

who was Malcolm's father.

But Malcolm Canmore is credited with an early iteration of Stirling Castle.

And there's been something fortified up there off and on ever since.

This area is called Kings Park. It was set aside, oh wait a minute, who by?

William the Lion, William the Lion, the King's Park.

He set aside a hunting park for himself
