Again, as I mentioned prior, we were just so blessed by how many people came for our first

all-church prayer meeting, and it was such a rich time.

And for those of you that were here, if you're anything like me, and I suspect that you are, didn't it seem like it just

flew by? I mean, I'm, you know, I got to keep an eye on the watch, so I'm watching for when

we need to, you know, bring it to a close. And I remember looking at my watch shortly after

we had started, and I looked again, and it was like

already an hour had gone by. I'm thinking, we just started. I mean, you just kind of get,

you know, lost before the throne as you're petitioning the throne and there's a certain

dynamic that takes place in corporate prayer. It's very different than when you

pray by yourself than it is when you pray together with the church. So hopefully you're able

to attend. So mark your calendars and let's plan on next Thursday. It's the last day of August and seven o'clock

right here. So with that, let's get into the word. Thursday nights we're going through the Bible,

book by book, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse. We made it all the way from Genesis to

Nehemiah, and tonight we're going to, Lord

willing, take and tackle two chapters, very interesting. Again, chapters that we have before us.

I know I say that every week, but this is a very interesting, and it's going to get better, by the way,

as we get further into the book.

So why don't we pray and we'll ask God's blessing on our time together before we get started.

Lord thank you so much for your word.

Thank you for this time that we have on a Thursday night to come to this beautiful church

that you provided for us and put aside all the busyness of the week and all the cares and the affairs of our busy lives and

just quiet our hearts and focus our attention upon you and your word and that which you have for us in your word.
