So, Okay, one of the things I think is really cool about what we get to do together here is that we are not all the same.

We don't believe the same stuff.

I know that there are a ton of you because I hear from you who aren't even sure that there's a God.

You just think the Bible is interesting or maybe you hope there's a god but you don't know what to make of it yet.

I know there's some of you who really feel very strongly there is not one and yet you think this is

compelling stuff you think the Bible's interesting you want to understand other people in your life and so you're here and you're part of it's awesome

We all get to hang out together and you're all very gracious with me as I completely disclose where I'm at, which is a person who was raised around this,

raised around a belief, had the wheels completely fall off of that, things got really weird

for me. I went through a very difficult time and it was a

difficult time. I was kind of faith-build 2.0 for me and I'm pretty

enthusiastically in even if the way I might verbalize is a little bit different

at this point.

So here we all are and we're having fun and we're hanging out.

I know that not all of you pray.

I do.

Prayer is weird to me.

I don't know exactly how to do it. I'm not sure I would say that I'm exactly good at it if there is a good at it even

In Faith Build 1.0 I guess my prayers were formulaic if you will. I said the things that I felt like I was supposed to say and that's good. I think

there's examples in the Bible of how to pray. The Lord's prayer. It's beautiful. It's wonderful. It's from Jesus himself.

Great way to pray. Awesome. I would like to think that I still try to emulate that.

But also a lot of the times when I pray now, it's more like the bowling alley that has the bumpers up on the sides, and I just kind of wing it down the lane, and the ball bangs into the bumpers 8, 12, 30, 40 times before it finally hits a pin or something at the end.

It's not pretty, it's not perfect, but dang if it isn't honest, and I don't know, that's where I'm at.
