How would you just start off by telling the listeners about yourself and what you do and your

background? My name is Gary Nessner and I retired as the chief of the FBI's crisis

negotiation unit. I retired in 2003 after 30 chief of the FBI's crisis negotiation unit.

I retired in 2003 after 30 years in the FBI.

And 23 of those years was I was a negotiator. And the last 10 years, I was the chief negotiator.
