Kind of a tough weekend for the Bulldogs. Let's just kind of call it for what it is. It was not a good weekend for Mississippi State basketball on the men's or women's side kept a very difficult week.

Shouldn't have been, but it was.

And we'll talk about both of those games.

We'll talk about some more coaching staff, some recruiting stuff.

A lot going on, to say the least.

And once you also kind of break down a couple of other things on the show today, we'll look ahead

briefly at the bowl picture.

We're not involved in all that.

So we're not going to spend a lot of time, you know, lamenting our own losses.

But we will look ahead for the future.

There is optimism at this point behind the Mississippi State football program.

You may have missed it on Friday, and we hope to have some announcements today.

We'll talk about that a little bit later.

But we had some announcements on Friday.

Coach Jeff Levy begins to put his staff together.

So we'll kind of break down where we are, where we're going.

We have worked the phones extensively, and I'm ready for this to be over, to be quite honest with you.

We've got official visit weekend this weekend coming up.

We'll talk about some of those visitors that are coming in, and then the next couple weeks are going to be busy.

And then the December signing period will be here.

Today is also the first day officially that the NCAA transfer portal is open for all players.
