We're gonna do dunked on a little bit early because we actually got some good news today

0:04.1

The NBA is set to approve tomorrow a plan for 22 teams to

0:10.8

Restart and what we want to do is look at some of the pros and cons of the approach that they picked

0:17.1

Then we're gonna get into at least some mail-back questions

0:20.2

We may have to save some of them for next time now since we got this news already before recording

0:25.3

But what are they doing Danny?

0:26.6

They are bringing back 22 of the 30 teams and

0:31.6

Each of those 20 22 teams is going to play eight what we're calling regular season games and

That's it we don't know that for sure

1:13.3

But that kind of feels like based on the timelines we're getting that's probably where we're going with it

1:17.4

Maybe a best of five in the first round in the east just to lay out where things are right now

1:22.4

Because remember they're only playing eight games and it also important. We'll talk about this a lot

1:25.9

I think there's a lot more intrigue in the it within the eight seating within the eight rather than who gets in and that's

1:32.1

Gonna be in play as well, so we can talk about some of those those are but in the east

1:36.6

Washington is currently five and a half games behind the Orlando magic and six games behind the Brooklyn nets

1:43.5

Which means they basically have to win out and one of those teams has to lose out to jump to the eight
