Oh man, it is a whole new era of the Dunked on NBA basketball podcast because the

NBA and its infinite wisdom, probably fair, I would say this is a good change overall, but man, did they make picking all the NBA a lot harder?

Now, I don't know about you, Danny we say this every year but this seemed like a

different animal picking that third team all NBA than I've ever experienced before.

It definitely was different and I think that the

looser structure there are no positions for all MBA made made certain parts of it feel

really different.

I will say that for those of you who've listened a long time,

my philosophy differences within the realms

that are allowed by the NBA now,

for all NBA and MVP are going to hold a little bit.

But I want to start briefly with,

for those who are less familiar,

just a short summary of what this is and what this is not.

Most important thing that this awards podcast is not is predictions. This is not

where will things be in April, May, and June when these awards are given out? This is not

reputational, this is not anything else. this is if the season ended today for whatever reason

who would we be giving these awards to and why and that's the second important component is

it's not who we think our colleagues are going to pick.

It's not who we think would win MVP right now if there was the normal

voters voting at this exact moment.
