It's almost surprising to me how blended families are not part of a mainstream conversation in a way that you might think given how ubiquitous

they are, given how increasingly, oh my gosh, the amount of blended families that just begin every single day is

growing so rapidly I actually learned this from my friend the lovely lovely Cameron Norman, I'm thrilled to introduce to you on the podcast today.

Cameron is the CEO of this Custom Life, where she helps stepmums who really want more out of their experience as a step mom navigating that tricky

role in a lot of cases. She's also the co-seer of Step Family magazine, founder of the Step-M diaries, podcast.

Cameron and I in this discussion speak about what a blended family really is, how it looks different for everybody.

And frankly a lot of the very honest conversations around how it's not easy in a lot of cases there isn't a manual for this becoming a step

parent entering a blended family creating a blended family it it comes with its own

complexities and Cameron and I just speak really honestly about this today.

Cameron, when she got married, had four stepchildren, four instant stepchildren in her life.

And she just speaks so bluntly about her own experience.
