Okay, folks, standardized testing season is upon us. And if you are coaching or leading in the great

majority of schools in the United States, I can pretty much guarantee that you will be

navigating some big feelings. From clients who are so

stressed and feeling tremendous pressure to prove their effectiveness, to those who reject the

validity of the tests and are angry because they're forced to administer them, and lots in

between.

So the good news about this type of thing is that it's predictable.

Standardized testing happens every year, which means you can be prepared.

Today, I'll be demonstrating how to navigate one common type of response.

The teacher who is overwhelmed with feelings and fears about testing and about what the process is what the test results could mean.

And here's what you need to know about this roleplay demonstration.

I'm going to be in conversation with Antoinette, who will be challenging her past teacher's self,

a middle school math teacher who is in her second year of teaching at the same school,

and so she knows what to expect from the testing process. For this roleplay,

this will be the first year that Antoinette and I have worked together, but I have been coaching her since September, and we have a good relationship. In this episode, you'll hear just a portion
