In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk, that deepen your understanding

of God's word and that heightens your awareness of his very real presence in your life.

Well, you know this. You'd have to maybe live in a shack somewhere in a remote place to know

to miss the idea that things are shaking all around us.

People are amped up, reacting in fear, and even anger.

So how do we, as God's people, maintain our peace, our perspective?

How do we maintain a heart hospitality that makes room for people when the love of most seems to be growing cold.

And when life is just hard sometimes. I know for me, when life gets hard, you get it coming at

you from a number of angles, I go into self-preservation mode. I kind of shut down. I limit my

inputs. And I don't think that's bad, but I think it is wise to discern. am I shutting down and shutting out when God will want me to practice heart hospitality because someone needs what God has given me?

Or maybe I need what he's given them.

How do we navigate these days with a heart that's tender and fresh?

You know, I think someone once said we need thicker skin and a more tender heart.

How do we do that in this kind of day?

And how do we process our wounds in a Christ-like way?

Because we are going to be wounded.

People are going to hurt us.
