I have my very dear friend Vanessa Spina on. She's a sports nutrition specialist who recently completed a two-year biomedical science program, the University of Toronto, and the best-selling author of Keto Essentials.

a couple of years ago is probably not what your body needs now and just pushing those limits, whether it be carnivore or keto or strength training or reverse dieting or understanding carbohydrates as fuel.

And what I really, really love is last time I saw Vanessa in person, she was eating a very, very strict ketogenic diet and very minimally, you know,

carbohydrates and all that stuff to kind of see her evolution, talking about reverse dieting and training and eating a whole bunch.

It's just so crazy to see how much can change when we just allow our bodies to, to navigate for us.

It's been a really long time. I don't even know what you've been up to. So why don't you share with us who you are, what you've been up to and we'll take it from there.

Sure. So I'm going to see Spina. I'm an author like you. I wrote a book about keto and I've been doing my podcast for I think just over two years now.

It's kind of my favorite thing that I get to do every week is talk to awesome people like you and geek out about this keto and all this stuff.

And I've been running a keto program for several years and I never thought I'd end up doing this. I used to work in finance as a news anchor and I totally switch gears.
